“… Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
About Us
Hope Media (Radio & Television) was established on November 14, 2019.
It is the brainchild of founding director Patrick E. Jones, who has dedicated all his life to the service of the Lord through the Salvation Army Church.
Bro. Patrick, as he is affectionately known, has worked extensively throughout Belize as a broadcast journalist and media professional. He first started in media in 1986 as a radio correspondent for the now defunct Radio Belize.
Through the years, he has transitioned from radio to television in the early 1990's and eventually to New Media (Social Media) at the turn of the century.
Throughout his time working in the media in Belize, Bro. Patrick never lost sight of his calling to be an ambassador for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He has been a member of the Salvation Army Church in Belize since 1975 and has served as a ranking member of the church in Georgeville (Georgeville Corps) and in Belize City (Belize Central Corps).
The Salvation Army's outreach ministry provided the golden opportunity for Bro. Jones to meet people from all walks of life and to help to meet their physical and spiritual needs.

About Hope Media (Radio & Television)
Through the medium of radio, television and new media, we are working in communities across the country to spread the Word of God and to assist those who are most in need, particularly widows, the elderly and children.
Our network includes ordinary Belizeans at home and abroad, as well as persons of faith both in Belize and outside of Belize who have a heart for helping.
Through donations, financial and material, we work tirelessly to help ease the burdens that many in our community face. And in return, God gets all the glory and the honor.
At Hope Media, it is our belief that Christ died for our sins on Calvary. We believe that Jesus was buried and that he rose from the grave, ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of Almighty God.

Our partnership with Belize Sports Outreach (BSO) dates back to 2005 when we linked up with a group of missionaries from Mississippi, USA.
Initially known as International Sports Outreach, the segue to BSO took place at a time when more schools were reaching out, asking for our assistance to support thier, youth, sport and physical education programs.
Through this working relationship, we take the story of Jesus and His love to boys and girls throughout the Cayo and Toledo districts utilizing baseball and softball as the medium.
Our motto: "staying balanced on the cross" exemplifies the core values of what our partnership encompasses. We believe that by staying focused on Jesus, we can be a better person overall.

HUMANITY IN ACTION
One of our key programs that we launched in 1999 is helping the indigent. We began simply by serving sandwich and coffee to the homeless on the streets of Belize City.
With the help of family members and a few sisters from my church - The Salvation Army - we would take to the streets, particularly on cold nights to reach out to those who slept in the public parks, under the stairs at the Supreme Court building and other public areas around the City.
By 2003, our Humanity in Action program had branched out to Cayo and a decade later to Toledo.

Every dime, shilling or dollar that is contributed to this outreach ministry is fully acknowledged and accounted for. None of it goes to personal expenses but we ensure that it all goes to the person or family for whom it is designated.
We believe in the idea of "helping people to help themselves."
